Editorial Policy

This policy applies to every article. It is not only a statement of intent — several of these rules are checked by our publishing system, and an article that fails them cannot go live.

What we never do

• Diagnose a condition.
• Give a medicine dose.
• Call any remedy a "cure".
• Publish a statistic we cannot source.
• Attach a person’s name as reviewer without verifying their credentials.

What every health article must carry

• A "when should you see a doctor" section — this one is mandatory.
• A medical disclaimer.
• The author and the review status.
• Publication and update dates.

Our use of AI

We use a language model to help draft some health-news summaries. Those articles say so, and they carry their source. No such article is published without a person reading it first, and the model is only ever asked to summarise the source it is given — never to add a fact of its own.

Language

We write spoken Hindi and keep the English terms people actually use. Formal, Sanskritised Hindi pushes information further away, not closer.
